G-Research are excited to announce that we have partnered with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and ITN Productions to produce a programme about the importance of investment into engineering and technology.
Introduced by national newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky, Engineering the Next Generation explores the diverse nature of engineering and technology, as well as the opportunities and challenges the sector faces in building a pipeline of talent for the future. The programme features key industry interviews and reports, together with editorial profiles featuring some of the leading organisations in the sector.
As a leading quantitative research and technology company, G-Research are featured in the programme to discuss the complex challenges we face with maintaining a global infrastructure that stores and processes huge amounts of data on a daily basis, whilst also constantly looking at ways to keep our technology innovative. We also touch on the importance of keeping our data and infrastructure is kept secure from cyber risks, and how G-Research are investing in talent to build a pipeline of future information security specialists.
The programme will be launched at the IET President’s Address event on Thursday 5 October 2017 at Savoy Place.

The IET is one of the world’s largest engineering institutions with over 168,000 members in 150 countries. It is also the most interdisciplinary – to reflect the increasingly diverse nature of engineering in the 21st century. Energy, transport, manufacturing, information and communications, and the built environment: the IET covers them all.
The IET is a registered charity that is working to engineer a better world by inspiring, informing and influencing our members, engineers and technicians, and all those who are touched by, or touch, the work of engineers. It aims to inspire the next generation of engineers, and to promote engineering and the work of engineers to society.
