Code Club UK
Code Club UK is a nationwide network of educators and volunteers who run free coding clubs for young people aged 9-13. With an extensive network of 6,785 clubs and 97,000 members across the UK, Code Club’s aim is to inspire the next generation to learn more about computing and digital making by helping young people learn Scratch, HTML & CSS, and Python.
Spear, a Resurgo Trust project, is an award-winning programme that aims to bridge the gap between unemployed 16-24 year-olds from disadvantaged backgrounds, and business seeking motivated new recruits. Spear has achieved significant results, with three-quarters of those on the programme returning to education or finding long-term employment.
Thrive is a leading UK-based charity that uses social and therapeutic horticulture to bring about positive changes in the lives of those who are living with disabilities or ill health, or who are isolated, disadvantaged or vulnerable. G-Research employees have worked closely with Thrive through volunteering for the charity in their Battersea Park centre.
The UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT)
The UK Mathematics Trust (UKMT)is a registered charity whose aim is to advance the education of the children and young people in mathematics. The UKMT organises national mathematics competitions and other mathematical enrichment activities for 11-18 year old UK school pupils, including the International Mathematical Olympiad 2019.
