Date: Friday 28th February 2020

Time: Algorithmic Trading Game: 17:00 – 19:30

Drinks & Food: 19:30-21:30

Location: Radisson Blu Kraków, ul. Straszewskiego 17, 31-101 Kraków, Poland

You will be able to take part in a live trading simulation game that will give you an insight into the world of quantitative finance outside of the traditional company presentation. The event will be run by our Quantitative Researchers and Machine Learning Specialists, who will share their knowledge about the industry and how a mathematical skill set can be transferred into other areas outside of academia.

The game is based on continuous blackjack. In teams of 2 to 3 you will play multiple rounds and try to beat the dealer. There will be prizes and we will have plenty of food to keep you going!

If you would like to register as a team, please let us know the names and email addresses of your team members (along with their degree discipline, university, and expected graduation dates) by sending an email to quant.events@gresearch.com with the subject Krakow Case Study.

One of our Quant Researchers will explain how the trading game works, the details of each round and what you will need to do.

Please ensure you bring your laptops with you, ideally fully charged as you may not have access to a power socket during the event. When the trading game finishes, please join us for drinks and pizza, where you can also discuss the event and life at G-Research with our Quant Researchers.
