G-Research PhD Prize in Maths and Data Science

From the 4th of November, G-Research will be opening its PhD Prize in Maths and Data Science. We’ll be giving away an academic prize of up to £10,000 to the best PhD draft dissertation entered into the competition.
Who can apply?
Oxford or Cambridge University students in their ultimate or penultimate PhD years, working across areas including but not limited to the below specialisms should apply:
- Quantitative Finance
- Mathematics
- Mathematics and Computational Finance
- Statistics
- Physics
- Engineering
- Machine Learning
When are applications open?
Applications will open on the 4th of November 2019, and will close on the 31st of January 2020.
How to apply
Students wishing to apply should send the following items to sophie.allisett@gresearch.com:
- An electronic chapter or excerpt from their draft dissertation
- Their CV
- A Covering Letter
Comparable pieces of work, or recently published papers will also be accepted. The maximum entry length is 50 pages.
