G-Research is Europe’s leading quantitative finance research firm. We hire the brightest minds in the world to tackle some of the biggest questions in finance. We pair this expertise with machine learning, big data, and some of the most advanced technology available to predict movements in financial markets.
As G-Research has grown rapidly, we have started a finance transformation programme to deliver the vision of a world-class finance function.
With rapid growth has come increasing complexity in the taxation and regulatory landscape. As a result we are looking to develop our internal tax expertise with a UK tax specialist.

This individual will have significant exposure to the board and have the potential to build a small team over the next 1-2 years.
Key responsibilities will include:
Providing tax advisory services, as well as developing and optimising tax strategy for G-Research
Providing in-house advice to support the management and legal teams in legal entity restructuring
Advising on tax implications of potential acquisition opportunities and support on structuring new deals from a tax perspective
Providing advice on permanent establishment risk across global jurisdictions
Oversight of all tax filings, ensuring these are submitted on time along with any payments falling due
Documenting and maintaining all tax policies and procedures
Maintaining a corporation tax forecast model and performing ad hoc scenario analysis
Acting as point of contact and managing relationships with external tax accountants and advisors
Monitoring changes in tax legislation and regulations, and communicating the necessary recommendations to management
